Samaritans:  A non-profit organization serving Horn Lake and Southaven, MS.  Our goal is to reach out and help those who are living at a poverty level and provide emergency financial assistance with utilities, medications, rent, food, and clothing as well as referrals to other resources available in the community. Also, to try and educate and find alternatives to help those living at a poverty level, to be self-sufficient and graduate them from poverty, one step at at time.

Habitat For Humanity: A nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. We build houses with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds.

His Hands and Feet Ministry: A Memphis based ministry that feeds the homeless on Jackson Ave. every Sunday at 2:30, and has an Adopt a Block Ministry. Right now the Adopt a block if focused on an area surrounding the Ed Rice Community center in Frasier. They reach out to people in homes and see if they need any assistance, and every Saturday at the community center volunteers host a faith based carnival with games, food, clothes, crafts, and a bibles lesson.
